Partner 12–  Centre de Recherches Scientifique et Technique en Analyses Physicochimiques (CRAPC)

General Description:  The Centre de Recherches Scientifique et Technique en Analyses Physico-chimiques (CRAPC) is a public funded research organisation that belongs to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in ALGERIA.  Founded in 1992, The center includes four major research divisions; namely the Materials Science Division ,  Division of Food Science,  Division of the Environment Chemistry and the Health division in which an active research team focuses efforts on the development of green downstream processing routes for the recovery of active compounds from medicinal plants in Algeria. Its expertise covers several unit operations: extraction, purification, and crystallisation along with the development of green solvents for their isolation. The team is supported by a technical staff for structure elucidation by means of GC/MS, HPLC and LC/MS, SEM techniques.  The centre is ranked second in Algeria in terms of production of high impact scientific publications
