WP3 Evaluation of biological properties

Objectives:​

​

• To evaluate the antioxidant, anti-ageing, skin-whitening, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and cytotoxic properties of extracts, enriched fractions and pure compounds.

 

Main activities:

​

The biological activity of isolated compounds, derivatives and extracts that will outcome from WP1 will be evaluated for their biological properties. The most promising ones with antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-aging and skin whitening activity will be selected and forwarded to pilot scale production, formulation and safety assessment for the preparation of innovative products in WP4.
